Families and friends would occasionally check into a posh resort or hotel, particularly during vacations. In an ideal world, these opulent hotel rooms would be able to mesmerize you with all of their cutting-edge devices, widescreen televisions, automated doors, and more. This service would typically be expensive for any hotel. When you can recreate that experience in the comfort of your own home, why spend a lot to stay in opulent hotels? There are many ways to turn homes into high-tech hotel-like rooms and those with the budget can start by getting these items:

Smart TV’s

There are many smart TVs available today. The newest smart TVs are actually available by visiting the closest electronics store. A large smart TV would be the best aesthetic choice to make your homes appear luxurious. You have the freedom to select the option that best suits you because options from various brands are essentially similar. Some let you use voice commands to activate your web browser. As time goes on, these smart TVs will only get better. Some will recognize particular hand gestures to activate commands.

Digital Keys

Either traditional physical keys or card keys that you can swipe are available in hotels for their locks. These, though, can be a hassle, especially if they disappear. On the other hand, more upscale hotels employ digital keys that are typically accessed through phones. This could function in one of two ways. The first is comparable to a radio frequency identification system (RFID) in concept. An app on your phone can simulate that idea so you don’t need the actual card. Bluetooth would be the second method. Modern locks will automatically unlock once they locate your phone’s Bluetooth ID nearby, allowing you to enter without having to do anything else.

Voice-Activated Rooms

The next thing you might want to do after entering your house without touching anything is to turn on the lights. Voice activation is one way. In high-end hotels and movies, it is common. All voice-enabled devices can be made to perform a task with a brief speech command. The popular comic book and movie Iron Man’s Jarvis, Tony Stark’s AI assistant, will take this step toward becoming a reality. Recently, Wynn Las Vegas installed Echo voice-controlled speakers in about 5,000 of their guest rooms. This allowed visitors to easily interact with the front desk or turn on appliances by simply telling the speaker to do so.

Automation

The automation made possible by robots or AI, like Echo, will work in tandem with voice-activated rooms to increase efficiency for everyone present. Typically, the definition of automation is “something that turns on and off by itself.” However, it goes further. Automation essentially refers to technology’s ability to engage itself only when necessary. Getting your room automated can, in some cases, significantly reduce your electricity costs.

Wireless Charging

It would take a while to untangle all the wires that were tangled up in the room. Even worse, it might break, forcing you to buy new ones. By eliminating the need for wires, wireless charging frees up space and eliminates the need for constant proximity to outlets. In hotels, some desks and tables come equipped with built-in chargers that start charging phones when they are close by.

Projector TV’s inside the Bathroom

This is ideal for anyone who enjoys taking their time or simply enjoys taking a bath. Having TVs projected in your very own bathroom will enhance the experience. Mirrors on the ceilings would be a simple trick. If you pair this with your Smart TV, you can use it to do almost anything, including use Spotify to play music, watch YouTube videos, browse the internet, and more—all without ever leaving the comfort of your couch.

Versatile Bathroom Walls

The bathrooms can even be upgraded further, right down to the walls. Bathrooms are typically divided by translucent glass walls or walls that can be covered with blinds. You wouldn’t need any of those if your bathroom walls were chrome-enabled. The bathroom wall can be made transparent, matte, or translucent with the touch of a button. The transparent walls make the bathroom appear even larger in this way.
